Buffalo Artist working in painting
Kayleah Aldrich is an artist in Buffalo, NY who works in painting and movement exploring ideas of girlhood, objectification, female rage, and vulnerability through abstraction. Aldrich grew up participating in dance and martial arts and takes notes on how the body is perceived, trained, and expressed through two very different gender-dominated worlds. Her work explores the relationships of femininity, the male gaze, and body dynamics through abstracted female forms and expressive brushstrokes.
