
Kayleah Aldrich is an artist from Buffalo, New York. She works in painting, photography, and performance video, exploring topics of performance, gender dynamics, self-intimacy, and longing. Aldrich graduated in 2021 with her BFA from Alfred University’s School of Art and Design in The New York State College of Ceramics. Working with painting and dance, she has exhibited work multiple times on campus at Alfred University, as well as at California State University, The Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts (Krakow, Poland), and The University of Saskatchewan (Canada) during the VERSO/RECTO International Print Exchange. Kayleah also studied printmaking in Barcelona, Spain for two weeks at Art Print Residency, exploring copper plate etchings. Working in movement, she choreographed three dance performances during her time at Alfred University as well as performed in multiple pieces each year as a student. Recently Kayleah completed a six-month residency at the C Stuart & Jane H Hunt Gallery, culminating in a group show, as well as a solo exhibition at the Crucible Art Collective. She continues to make work in Buffalo.
